Karashi 80 brings the genre-defying performance of the 59mm original to a harder-hitting middleweight size, expanding its deadly reach to a new class of targets. Harnessing yuki ito’s hard won hydrodynamic expertise, karashi unleashes bait-busting surface action with a fast retrieve and upward rod twitches, surface dog-walking, subsurface twitch-walking, and finesse I-motion with a straight retrieve. Karashi 80’s extended darting range and dynamic ability are decisive strike triggers for targets that track other baits but won’t commit. With the uncanny range to coax even the wariest targets from inactive to active feeding stages, the karashi 80 is the embodiment of a deadly new class of japanese lure technology.
The Karashi 80 can be worked using several distinct actions to trigger strikes. With I-motion, use a super-slow retrieve just fast enough to maintain the target depth range; the subtle, defenseless wobbling action imitates an injured baitfish and entices opportunistic feeders to bite. Twitching involves short rod twitches that make the Karashi dart just below the surface, creating an agile, erratic movement that often provokes reaction strikes from fish that are following. For a dog-walk presentation, apply rhythmic twitches on the surface to produce a smooth side-to-side walking action; pausing occasionally allows the Karashi to slow-sink before it walks its way back to the surface like a baitfish attempting to escape. Finally, bait-busting is achieved with fast upward rod twitches combined with a quick retrieve, causing the Karashi to splash, walk, and leap across the surface like panicked baitfish, often triggering explosive strikes from aggressive predators.

It depends on where you are. We have a commitment to have all orders picked and fufilled within 1 business day. If your order is placed before 2pm EST it will be fulfilled the same business day. Standard parcels are usually delivered within 1-5 business days and Express parcels are delivered within 1-2 business days. Delivery details and tracking information will be provided in your confirmation email.
We offer free standard shipping for orders over $150 (before tax) in Canada and the USA. (Nunavut, Northwest Territories, & Yukon do not qualify for free shipping at this time)

We use a solid protective rod tube wrap your rod to ensure it will be safe during transit. We also outline to our carrier that these packages are fragile.
We accept any exchanges or returns within 14 days of your purchase as long as the items are in original packaging with tags! Please note return label costs are not covered by Ptbo Pro Tackle.
