Megabass Evoluzion MX40 Casting

Going back a quarter century, the rod that boldly pioneered the 21st century bass scene is engraved in the hearts of experts who have been in the bass fishing world for a long time.  It's name is Destroyer [Evoluzion].  Based on the blank mandrel of Megabass' flagship rod, Destroyer, ITO Engineering succeeded in developing a unique composite shaft by implanting titanium fiber into the carbon graphite layer of the original Destroyer. This opened the door to another world of rod engineering different from Megabass.

The successive Evoluzion rods have acquired a torqueful and flexible character with rich spring elasticity unique to titanium, which sets them apart from the original Destroyer with its ultra-high elasticity shaft. They have highly embodied the comfortable bass fishing ergonomics that professionals who fight long tours seek. 25 years after its debut, ITO Engineering has developed a new titanium blank format to realize highly versatile adjustability of methods and schemes in the increasingly diverse bass fishing of today and the near future.

Ultra-low resin, high modulus carbon graphite MX40 is densely synthesized with ultra-thin micro titanium fibers made of shape memory super titanium. A new titanium composite shaft has been created that has dynamically evolved to achieve an unprecedented extremely high tensile breaking strength, and can bend 17% more than ever before, demonstrating high rigidity and strong tenacity. Super titanium with enhanced shape memory properties exhibits high vibration transmission characteristics of a metal due to its high recovery performance. It gives "enhanced sensitivity" to a torqueful shaft that can be bent. 

In other words, the new Evoluzion can expand the fast-moving game with improved "underwater resolution" to a wider range of areas, while also bringing a high-tension feel that is unlike any previous Evo, such as "hooking" heavy cover or deep with jigs and Texas rigs.  Ito has been building the HTI (Human Tackle Interface) for many years, and has devised a number of the latest ergonomic parts, such as the NEW Slant Bridge (PAT.P) and Head Locking System (PAT.), which are shaped from his own ergonomics using multi-dimensional structural theory.
